1. About Me
The Positive Psychologist is the trading name of Dr Kristin Sonja Bohn, a sole trader operating in England and Wales.
Dr Kristin Sonja Bohn is:
A Clinical Psychologist registered with the
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the
British Psychological Society (BPS)
Holder of a Diploma in Coaching & Positive Psychology (The Coach Business School)
Professionally indemnity insured

2. Services Provided
I provide:
Individual psychological therapy (Clinical Psychology services)
Positive psychology coaching
Group programmes and workshops
Digital products and downloadable materials
Clinical psychology services are regulated by the HCPC and delivered in accordance with HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Chartered status with the BPS reflects adherence to its professional Code of Ethics and Conduct.
Coaching services are informed by my Diploma in Coaching & Positive Psychology and professional experience.

3. Distinction Between Therapy and Coaching
Clinical psychology services involve assessment and therapeutic intervention for psychological difficulties and mental health conditions.
Coaching services focus on personal development, wellbeing, strengths and goal attainment. Coaching is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.
If you are in crisis or require urgent mental health support, you should contact your GP, NHS 111 or emergency services.

4. Booking & Contract Formation
A contract is formed when:
You book a service, and
Payment is received or confirmed in writing.
You agree that all information provided is accurate.

5. Fees & Payment
Fees are stated on the Website or agreed in writing.
Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Digital products must be paid in full before access is granted.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
1–1 Therapy & Coaching Sessions
You may cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund or rescheduled session.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
Group Programmes
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the first scheduled session will receive a full refund.
After this time, fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
Digital Downloads
Due to immediate access to digital content:
Digital products are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

7. Confidentiality
Information shared within therapy or coaching is confidential, except where:
There is risk of serious harm to yourself or others
Disclosure is required by law
Safeguarding obligations apply
Clinical records are maintained in accordance with:
HCPC professional standards
The ethical framework of the British Psychological Society

8. Professional Standards
Clinical services are delivered in line with:
Health and Care Professions Council standards
British Psychological Society ethical guidance
Coaching services are delivered within the scope of my qualifications and professional competence.

9. Liability
I maintain professional indemnity insurance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any matter that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, liability shall be limited to the total fees paid for the relevant service.

10. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, downloads, programme resources and written content remain my intellectual property.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or shared without written permission.

11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to the Privacy Policy below.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
